“Pjetër Budi” held a workshop on finalization of curriculum

In June 2023, training workshop on curriculum design was held at “Pjetër Budi” College. The workshop commenced with a training session delivered by Prof. Dr. Gökçen Öğrük Maz from Texas Wesleyan University in U.S.

Prof. Öğrük Maz, emphasized how transparently designed assignments can provide equal opportunities for all students to achieve success. She also highlighted that transparent teaching and learning methods explicitly focus on why and how students are learning course content in particular ways.

The working group continued with a workshop that was led by the external expert in the field of higher education, Prof. Assoc. Dr. But Dedaj. Prof. Dedaj gave suggestions for designing the curriculum and subjects based on the standards from the Accreditation Agency and the best experiences of highly ranked universities in Europe and beyond. During the workshop, some of the topics discussed were the estimation of student workload with ECTS credits for each subject and latest developments in the field of Customs and Freight Forwarding.

Additionally, representatives from Customs of Kosova, academic staff and student representatives took part in the meeting.

As a result, the curriculum for the study program in the field of Customs and Freight Forwarding was finalized.
